Handwoven, basketry reed, natural seagrass, fish net cord, some with pine needles. Birdhouses are mainly decorative, although some small bird species may be interested in moving in.

Donna Cochran's passion for basketry evolved throughout her career of teaching and international development in West and East Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. She has studied with renowned basket makers from many cultures and learned a wide range of basketry techniques using traditional materials. Donna grows and/or harvests many of her materials herself, using ecological practises. She also employs contemporary materials and an imaginative range of upcycled and repurposed items.
