Lavandin is the quintessential lavender image that one conjures when thinking of stunning French lavender fields. It has all the same antiseptic and antimicrobial qualities of English lavender, but it has stronger wood and camphor notes, is more penetrating and has a sharper scent. It is good for circulatory, respiratory and muscular conditions. Lavandin has balancing, purifying and clarifying qualities that are less calming and sedative when compared to true English lavender.

Uses

First aid: Skin cleaning, cuts & wounds. Diffuser: For breathing difficulties, respiratory issues, colds, flu etc. Ideal for daily diffusing as it has sharper notes that can be more stimulating than English lavender. Aches, pains & strains: Place a drop on your temple or neck to relieve headaches. Massage into muscles to relieve aches or soreness (blend 3% essential oil into a carrier oil of your choice for the perfect blend).
