Salt Spring artist Rhen Levy took this stunning photograph just before dawn one December morning. The sky, suffused with soft peach light, brushed the mist dancing in slow motion over the calm waters of Ganges Harbour while the anchored boats seemed to be floating through this celestial realm with nymphs of the sea and a ghost-like sailor in his skiff.

"For me, this was one of the most extraordinary sunrises I have ever witnessed here on Salt Spring Island," Rhen says.
