Salt Spring Island Big Leaf Maple board, with food safe beeswax/mineral oil finish. Perfect for serving charcuterie to a crowd, this beautiful piece features unique wood grain and a live edge, plus an ergonomic handle. The wood was salvaged from local storm-fallen trees from maker Grant Wickland's own property.

Measures 114.5 cm long by 28 cm wide (45 by 11 inches) and stands 1 inch high (2.5 cm).

Grant Wickland is an acclaimed instrument maker and artist working out of his home studio on Salt Spring Island, BC. Grant has been a woodworker all his life. He has built houses, docks and a couple of pile drivers, run a water taxi, played guitar and mandolin and supervised heavy marine construction. His banjo design principles include clean lines and strong well connected construction that lets the banjo vibrate as one piece. His charcuterie boards and cutting boards are made from local wood sourced from his own property and feature natural live edge and/or harmonious geometric design principles.
