Judy Weeden has been working in ceramics for 50 years after a full-time academic career in biological research and teaching at the University of Alaska. It was during her field work that she discovered the materials that constitute the ceramist’s palette. Judy’s work is often decorative or sculptural, with a functional component. Judy has always recognized the beauty of clay and the objects made from it.
